Halal-Certified Products, Explained Plainly
ALBA is not a halal-certified restaurant, but we cook the Italian menu with halal-certified products at ALBA, including meat sourced from certified suppliers, so guests who eat halal can enjoy the Italian menu alongside everyone else at the table.
It is a small distinction, but an important one when you are organising a group dinner. There is no need to divide the table between separate menus or work around one guest's requirements. The menu is naturally broad, with seafood, pasta, vegetables and meat all playing their part, and bespoke halal menus can also be arranged for private events.
The result is a dinner where everyone can sit down to the same table, choose from the same menu and enjoy the evening together.
The Spaces
At ALBA, our private dining room, the Cabina del Capitano, accommodates up to ten guests and looks out towards Harrods. It is an intimate setting for a family celebration, birthday party, business dinner or any occasion where you want the table to feel completely your own.
For larger gatherings, we can arrange semi-private spaces within the main dining room. The Chef Executive Table seats up to fourteen guests, while the semi-private section next to the wine cellar can accommodate up to eighteen. For bigger parties, our semi-private Mirror Room works for groups of fifteen to thirty, while the main dining room can accommodate between thirty and fifty-five guests.
For the biggest occasions, the entire restaurant can be hired exclusively, with space for up to 110 seated guests or 150 standing. Whatever the size of your gathering, our events team can help you find the space that feels right for the occasion.

For larger groups and private events, our events team will take care of the details with you ahead of the day. We will come back to you with the available spaces and menu options, giving you plenty of time to go through the halal menu with your guests and make sure everyone is happy with what is planned.
Our group menus are designed in the Italian sharing style, beginning with antipasti and moving through pasta, followed by fish or meat dishes and something dolce to finish.
For drinks, we also have a selection of non-alcoholic options to start the evening, including a non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz, alcohol-free beer, a non-alcoholic Espresso Martini and our homemade lemonades. So whether your guests are drinking or not, everyone has something to raise a glass with when the evening begins.
