Rock oysters shucked to order and served on ice at Alba's raw bar

Oysters in Knightsbridge

Maldon rock oysters, shucked to order at the raw bar, opposite Harrods. ALBA's oyster and seafood display runs through lunch and dinner, with a glass of something cold never far away.

Maldon Rock Oysters

ALBA serves Maldon rock oysters from the Essex coast: clean, briny and shucked to order at the raw bar rather than in advance. Carlingford oysters, from Carlingford Lough on the Irish coast, join them at the raw bar. Both are served simply on ice with the classic accompaniments, so the oyster leads. Available by the half-dozen or the dozen.

At the Raw Bar

The oysters sit within ALBA's wider oyster and seafood display, alongside the caviar service and the daily catch. A half-dozen to open a dinner, or a plate at the bar with a glass of Franciacorta. For an easy treat any day of the week, try our daily oyster and prosecco pairing.

They belong to the same raw-bar tradition as the fish counter and pair naturally with a slow Sunday lunch. Both sit within ALBA's seafood kitchen in Knightsbridge.
